Innovation
Science
WAGET supports research and dialogue that searches for new knowledge and explores tough questions. We sponsor educational research, contribute to discussions like the Plato Society in Madison and connect science with community such as the Talk of the Terrace concept to promote the Wisconsin Idea.
Policy
WAGET sponsors events with WisPolitics and WisBusiness which partner with the Milwaukee Press Club in discussions and programs. We have played roles in programs on Foxconn, the Silicon Heartland, Rural Broadband, Millennials in Society and the Economy, Navigating the New Economy, and rural development.
Practice
WAGET connects the private, public, non-public, and academic sectors to solve problems, create opportunities and connect the dots. We support companies that persue profit with purpose. WAGET and its predecessors, for example, have created programs involving water, youth exchanges, cultural awareness, and agricultural trade.
